BUZ

Share Project

Buz is a seamless mobility payment system designed to streamline fare collection and improve passenger experience in busy cities. By integrating contactless payment technology, QR scanning, and smart route tracking, Buz ensures that commuters in crowded buses and matatus can pay fares effortlessly and alight efficiently without unnecessary delays.

Buz revolutionizes the urban commuting experience in crowded public transport systems like buses and matatus by offering an innovative fare payment solution. This system employs contactless payment via NFC-enabled cards, mobile apps, and QR code scanning to minimize physical cash transactions and improve overall efficiency. Passengers can quickly scan a QR code upon boarding, allowing the system to calculate fares based on distance traveled. Integrated route tracking ensures precise billing and enhances operational transparency for transport operators.

Additionally, Buz includes a mobile app where commuters can top up wallets, track vehicles in real time, and access e-receipts. For operators, it provides analytics on peak hours, passenger counts, and revenue, fostering informed decision-making. Designed to meet the demands of Africa's bustling cities, Buz combines convenience, security, and innovation to transform public transport.
